We're back with the second episode of This vs. That. This is the first completely independent television show I've ever worked on, and it's a fun and interesting time every episode.
This second episode needed a few animated diagrams that illustrated concepts in carpet materials, stains, and what it takes to clean up both.

MCAD Creates: 125 Stories
My alma mater, the Minneapolis College of Art + Design, is celebrating its 125th Anniversary this year. As part of the festivities, they created a book called "MCAD Creates: 125 Stories". In it are short biographies of 125 alumni over the 125 years and I was lucky enough to be included.
There are a couple of paragraphs, which essentially encapsulate what's on this here website you're on now, as well as a featured quote, echoing my wisdom into the ages:

There are many reasons I love science shows, and but one of those reasons is that I get to work on a lot of them. This new series is called This Vs. That, and compares two different concepts, technology, or ideas together and judges where the benefits may be.
Where I come in is illustrating and animating diagrams to better explain concepts that the hosts talk about. This particular episode dealt with a lot of explosions. Which were divided into two groups of diagrams.
