Medicine! Television! Action! The notorious Dr. Oz is coming up with a new clip special called Dr. Oz's Ultimate Top 20. It's his top 20, or I should say 'Ultimate' top 20, clips of him confronting people about being unhealthy and trying to stop them from DYING.
Joining forces with the East Coast based 3 of Change, I was brought in to create a graphics package for this single episode special for Discovery Health.
The show is a common countdown, so the design was pretty straight forward -- but it's about Dr. Oz anyway, and he's got a fun stand out personality so no one tuning in will be complaining.
In attacking the countdown, the goal for the production was to emulate SMPT countdown leader. At the same time, focus more on the behind the scenes activity of the Dr. Oz show and avoid medical imagery and too many bright colors. I slid a few in there, so appreciate the risks I took!
