What on Earth?

Title Design/ Animation: Television Show
Three of Changee/ Discovery Science Channel
This was a call for the titles of an ongoing series for Discovery's Science Channel. It's sort of a repackaging show, where prior content that was used in other shows or not used at all is re-cut and made to look new under a vaguely topical show title - which changed over and over again.
That description sounds a lot worse than it it, as it is all very interesting stuff!
The common thread for the show is that everything is mysterious, natural, and exists on Earth. The original concepts for the show focused on portraying the four corners of the Earth as the four natural 'elements' of early scientific investigation: earth, air, fire, and water. Incorporating diagrams and illustrations of scientific discovery throughout history. But as the project moved on, the idea became a more literal concept of the mysteries of the Earth, almost as an entity itself.
The most notable factoid about creating this sequence, is that almost every photograph in the sequence -- jelly fish, jungle trees, lakes, wasps, rocks, clouds -- were actually photographed by me over the years. Eagle and goat not included.
