This is a pilot for Animal Planet that focuses on the animal-like behavior of humans. Humans AS animals. Human Animal. GET IT? DO YOU?
The concept I approached for the title, was to do a sort of a play off of Leonardo Divinci's Vitruvian Man. Draw a human figure that then transforms into various animal parts.
In the process I ended up drawing a ton more animal parts -- heads, arms, legs, wings, claws -- that I knew probably wouldn't all going to be able to make it into the open, but it would be best to prepared if we needed anything more.
Since the show is primarily an educational comedy, there was even a briefly considered version that referenced Loony Tunes, with concentric rings and bright yellow duck feet!
