Bullied Title Sequence

Bullied, is a documentary covering the true story of a kid in a small town in Wisconsin who endures years of bullying in school for being gay.
The title sequence went through a couple different incarnations over the length of the process. Luckily a lot of the back and forth was very limited because the Director, Bill Brummel, knew what he was looking for enough that it made a very clear target to hit, with a lot of creative room to push things.
Since the entire sequence, in my mind, was going to revolve around flowing and rolling clouds of imagery, it was going to be unlikely to find a graphics library of cloud effects that would have all the motion that I wanted, so I decided to shoot it all myself.
Bathtubs full of india ink later, I had the elements to use for the transitions, and all the footage I would need to tie the titles into the tone and structure of the movie.
