HISTORY:

 

The ATOMIC ROCKET was first launched in August of 1995 as Bill Rude's personal homepage while attending the Minneapolis College of Art + Design.

 

Soon after, it appeared in the pages of WIRED magazine, AD Week's CREATIVITY magazine, and garnered a number of Web Design awards, + there launched a career in motion graphics; applying the same creative problem solving to push technological limits, to the motion picture industry.

BILL RUDE BIOGRAPHY:

Bill Rude, is a Los Angeles based designer, animator, + effects expert with a penchant for retro horror. Work of his has been created for hundreds of movies, games, + TV shows, as well as spear heading the internal media design of legendary restaurant In-N-Out Burger for over 20 years.

In his spare time Rude is an accomplished horror artist (www.7hells.com) + lecturer on the historical influences of Horror + genre on popular culture. He has lectured at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), Art Center College of Art & Design, University of Southern California (USC), Minneapolis College of Art & Design (MCAD), the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, Los Angeles (FIDM), Tiki Oasis, + the Midsummer Scream Horror & Halloween Festival.
